Basic Shipping FAQ
We ship Primarily USPS - United States Postal Service and UPS - United Parcel Service.
• SHIPPING COST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION:
• We can ship USPS (US Postal Service Priority Mail) most things from just over 2 pounds up to 20 pounds anywhere
in the USA for the postal service flat rate box charge. As long as the size of the product will fit into the box!
• IF IT GOES OVER 20 POUNDS:
Another box will be automatically added as shown on your shipping choice.
Packages weighing 2 pounds and under are usually charged more per pound by the shipping companies. These
are the shipping charges directly from US Postal and UPS servers. They are not our charges.
• INSURANCE & GUARANTEED DELIVERY NOTICE:
The only packages that are insured and are guaranteed delivery times are UPS Next Day Airs, 2nd Day Air and US Postal Service Express Overnight Mail. Once we give it to the shipping company it is out of our hands.
• US Postal Service does not cover any lost or damaged packages without insurance on them. If you want a package insured you must call us before you complete your order at Rainbow 503-788-3396 or Dwight 503-777-1883 and we can give you the insurance costs to insure the package.
• USPS - UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE PRIORITY MAIL DELIVERY TIMES FROM PORTLAND, OREGON: 1-3 DAYS DELIVERY from day of shipment to MOST ADDRESSES IN THE UNITED STATES - Saturdays are counted as a shipping day.
• UPS - Shipping is counted from next day of shipment except for Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air only. Shipping is for business days only and DOES NOT COUNT WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS:
• WE SHIP TO ALL US STATES, APO ADDRESSES AND US TERRITORIES:
We NO LONGER ship Internationally.
• We ship SOME OF OUR PACKAGES with an ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED for safety:
If you DO NOT WANT A SIGNATURE REQUIRED for your packages you can request us NOT TO PUT A SIGNATURE REQUIRED in the comments box during checkout to release us and the shipper from any responsibility if the package was delivered but not received by the customer. Or just have it shipped to your work or where someone is there to sign for it.
• UPS SERVICE FEE FOR INCORRECT INFORMATION:
Please be sure that your shipping address is correct because if it is "Returned", "Unable to Deliver", "Wrong Address" , "Sent to the wrong address" or any other problem because it is typed incorrectly or the wrong address is typed in for shipping address you will be responsible for any extra charges ($10.00 for an Exception for UPS) and any reshipping costs.
• SOME 25 AND 50 POUND CARTONS CAN ONLY SHIP UPS:
They are shipped direct from the factory and are packaged for UPS shipment only. These products will only give you a shipping choice for UPS as you checkout.
• IS YOUR SHIPPING EXTREMELY HIGH?
Please make sure the country you entered is the UNITED STATES and not another country or it will calculate shipping to that country.
• IF YOU ARE USING AN AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARD:
We have been advised by AMERICAN EXPRESS that they require us to have a SIGNATURE REQUIRED as well as INSURANCE on packages. If you are using an AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD and do not want a Signature Required or Insurance please LET US KNOW in the COMMENTS BOX during checkout so we and the shipper are released of liability if the package is said to be delivered by the shipping company but the customer says they did not get it. We will contact you to let you know how much the insurance will be and that a Signature will be Required.
• We need your current correct daytime phone number and current correct daytime email to contact you in case your products do not fit in one flat rate box or if there is any other problems with your order or shipping. If we can not reach you we will hold up shipment until we can contact you.
